Santiago de Cuba-Melgarejo-El Cobre-Palma Soriano-Julie Anotioa Mella (MIranda)-Pinalito-Mercura-Loma de la Mensura-Pinares de Mayarì-Mayari

The idea was to sleep in the national park of "La Mensura". The map showed a hotel... without a phone number. So I just started my journey.

Remember:
-Five soft-ice at Palma Soriano (without having stomach issues *smile*)
-Was stopped just before arriving at Julio Antonio Mella (Miranda) by the rain and waited one hour in the "housing" of a bus stop with around 15 locals (strange situation).
-After Miranda, the road was only made of dirt. In combination with rain a "nice" story. Even if the map said: "Secondary road (mainly surfaced). In fact: it was only the 2% of the road that went up (up to 900m).

But the sunset was just delicious...
... and I was lucky to have the Lupine to drive in the dark on a "destroyed" road.

Arriving at the hotel, it was said to be closed... At that time, I had a bad feeling and not ready to say: c'mon, I just need a place to sleep... and continued around 30km in Mayari where I ate two pizza and slept at a private house (not allowed) as there was no official accommodation.
(bottom cream to the old woman, no shower, the WC-light was just turned off by a cable).
